How to Order
We accept orders in almost any form. You can order by Fax, Phone, E-mail, Mail or in person. When ordering please include the product name, number, wood species and desired finish for each item you are ordering so we can avoid making any assumptions or mistakes. You can contact our Sales Department Monday thru Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM. We are closed Sundays. We also have voice mail for your convenience. If you leave a message we will get back to you as promptly as possible. If you would like to Fax us an order our number is (717) 355-2351 and that line is always open.
What Happens when You Place an Order
When you order, we will do our best to establish a delivery date. You may have it shipped by a Common Carrier, Pick Up yourself or we will deliver blanket wrapped in our own truck where feasible. We will then enter your order into our computer system and send you an acknowledgement. Please check it carefully and let us know if there are any changes that need to be made. If we do not hear back from you within three days, we will proceed with your order. We will notify you approximately 1 week ahead of completion so delivery can be decided and payment processed.
Payment Terms
We require a 50% deposit and the balance is due before we can ship. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Cash or Personal checks as payment on deposits and balances. All orders are quoted F.O.B New Holland, PA. We will determine delivery costs prior to order on chairs, stools and rockers. When ordering larger items like tables, hutches, beds or settees an estimate will be given prior to ordering but we will determine delivery costs when item(s) are closer to completion.
Measurements
All furniture expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity. Please note that all measurements of our furniture are approximate.
Our Warranty
Should you, the original purchaser, find a defect in workmanship, material or construction in our furniture, please notify us as soon as possible. As long as the problem occurs during normal household use within 15 years of purchase, Martin’s Chair will repair or replace the furniture at its discretion.
Custom Orders
On orders for custom pieces, we require a non-refundable $100 design deposit to begin drawing for your approval. The deposit will be credited to your order. Also, due to the extra time involved in developing the piece, please be aware that it may take 2-4 weeks longer than a standard piece to be ready for shipment. For custom pieces please call
